How I plan on getting the first 5 users to my SaaS
At the end of June, it will be 1 year since I quit my full-time job to go all in on indie hacking.
I failed at my first attempt partly because I could not properly market my apps.
So this time, I am determined to learn and do more marketing.
I recently finished developing my 6th app called Speeqa, which helps users to improve their speaking and presentation skills with AI-powered analysis and feedback.
Here is how I plan on getting the first 5 users to this SaaS.
Personalized DMs: This is hard and not scalable, but to get the first few users, I must do that which is not scalable.
I am targeting LinkedIn and Twitter for this campaign.
I am planning to send 5 DMs per day until I see something happening.
Social Media Posts: I am very active on LinkedIn and Twitter, I hope to share valuable content related to my SaaS and other apps I am working on.
This is much of a long-term plan, and I am aware of how competitive it is to get attention on social media nowadays.
Video Content: I have a dedicated TikTok channel for Speeqa, I plan to share valuable speaking and presentation insights and show the analysis and feedback that comes from Speeqa.
The idea here is to turn some of the views into customers. I am starting with short-form content because I have experience with it.
I will also repurpose the same videos to YouTube shorts and Facebook/Instagram Reels.
So those are three ways I plan to employ to get the first 5 users to my SaaS. It is a small goal, but a good one for a start.
As for my entire app business, I am still at $0.
Until next time
May the odds ever be in your favor
